Summary

Register for this course today and learn how America went from winning WWII to battling communism and terrorism, and became the most powerful military force the world has ever seen.

Course Description: This course will cover American military history from the End of World War II to the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Students will learn the causes, motives, and tactics of the most recent of America’s wars and conflicts. This analysis will be through a uniquely Christian perspective, viewing each topic through the lens of Catholic teaching. Additionally, students will learn about the role of the chaplaincy and how it has ministered to the American military through the years. Students will get to take a hard look at American military history and ask tough ideological questions while at the same time growing in appreciation for the role the American military has played in history, creating a safer and freer world.
