Course name
Anatomy & Physiology, Part One with Victoria Cerise
Recorded course taught by Victoria Cerise for High School Biology
Summary

Please note: This is an updated A&P course that was taught in 2024. If you finish this Part 1 before Spring 2025, please wait to take A&P Part 2 course until that one is up in June 2025 (Mrs. Cerise changed the layout for the lessons so the current A&P Part 2 does not match up with this updated course).

To continue science studies after basic biology, join this in-depth and complete study of human anatomy and physiology covering the basic principles of human biology and its functions. This is an especially good course for students considering medical / health fields after high school.

Instructor: Victoria Cerise, BSN

Course Description: This course offers an in-depth study of human anatomy and physiology with a complete study of the basic principles of human biology and its functions. Where appropriate, discussion of contemporary bioethical issues from the perspective of the Church’s moral magisterium will be engaged. Victoria Cerise, BSN, lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband. She graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and worked in the Emergency Department as an RN. Now, she uses her medical knowledge to teach science to students to help them learn the beauty of God’s design in our lives. She also works as a professional Catholic wedding photographer to help show the beauty of a God-centered marriage within her work. She has been strongly involved in prolife activism since college, and continues to do activism today through her photography and prayers. When not teaching or photographing, she is typically found learning new homemaking skills in one of her favorite places ever: her log cabin home!
