• Progress through the course from beginning to the end, viewing each resource in the order they appear.

  • First are the learning resources for the topic being covered.

  • Next is the recorded class.

  • Last are assignments. These are related to the topic to be covered in the following class. Viewing the learning resources for the following week will help you better understand the assignments.

• Once the course is completed to the parent's and professor’s satisfaction, there is a Certificate of Completion at the end to be filled in for your records.

Course description:

Learn about the five senses—sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Students will learn both anatomy and physiology through learning resources and labs. This course is taught in a flipped-classroom format. Students are expected to gain familiarity with the assigned media (print, audio, video) and complete work prior to viewing the class. This course aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for middle school life science.

Class 2: Touch

Class 3: Taste and Smell

Class 4: Sight

Class 5: Hearing

Class 6: Senses Project Presentations
