Fake Religion: Understanding the Freemasons
Live course taught by Gary Michuta for Summer 2025 High School Apologetics
Summary

It’s difficult to find a conspiracy theory that doesn’t involve the Freemasons, but how did this secret society start? What are its beliefs? Why has the Church condemned it?

Course Description: In this course, we pull the curtain away from this secret society by looking at its beginning, its bizarre beliefs and practices, and its influence. We will also probe the reasons why the Catholic Church has persistently forbidden Catholics from joining this sect.
