Summary

Come meet the special lover of the Eucharist and patron saint of First Communicants— Blessed Imelda Lambertini! Using the engaging chapter book by Mary Fabyan Windeatt, we will learn about how Bl. Imelda’s short life contained great love.

Course Description: Over the course of four weeks, students will read the chapter book Patron Saint of First Communicants: The Story of Blessed Imelda by Mary Fabyan Windeatt. Each week, students will come to class to discuss what they read and to learn more about how Blessed Imelda shows that no one is too small to participate in the glory of God. There will be a reading comprehension quiz each week, and a final book report will give students a clear mark of their achievement throughout the course.

Instructor: Miss Aisling Mac Donough

This will also help you assist your student with homework where necessary or help your student contact the teacher with questions. If you miss a live class, make sure to watch the recording with your student as well. Thank you for your support!
