Join this moral theology course to study St. Thomas Aquinas on living a virtuous life. Along with your teacher and fellow students, you’ll carefully analyze individual moral virtues.

Course description: This course in moral theology will examine the nature of virtue and its role in the Christian moral life according to Saint Thomas Aquinas. After a brief and general study of the nature of habits, virtues, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we will investigate the nature of grace and the theological and infused moral virtues in detail. This course will also focus on ways to practically grow the virtues in our daily life.

Homework: Expect to spend about 45 minutes reading each week, plus a weekly quiz (computer-graded for immediate feedback). In addition, there will be a virtue practice each week (students work to grow in a particular virtue)

About Inshal Chenet

Inshal Chenet and his wife are both proud homeschool graduates. Mr. Chenet has lived in 18 different places around the globe since he was born in Bedford, Texas. He comes from a family of seven and his father served in the United States Air Force.

After serving a year in NET ministries, Mr. Chenet went on to attend Wyoming Catholic College and received his BA in Liberal Arts, and then received his MA in Theology from Christendom College.

He teaches Science, Theology, History, and a variety of other subjects for Homeschool Connections and other local groups, and is currently starting a boy's high school, St. Joseph the Worker Academy.

On the side, Mr. Chenet runs Cottonwood farms, a small farm community with several catholic families and many animals such as: a milk cow, pigs, maple-tapping, bees, sheep, goats, and chickens.

He is a certified COR backpacking instructor and enjoys canyoneering, caving, and camping when he can find the time for it. But most of all, Mr. Chenet loves spending time with his wife and four children and the vibrant community that they live in.
