Have you ever wondered if a shark is a fish or a mammal? Or if snakes have bones? Or how birds fly? Then this class is for you! We will learn all about God’s beautiful creation of animals and different species!
Course Description: In this hands-on course, students will have the opportunity to learn about the different animal species and what makes them special! We will have short lectures and do some fun activities (with our last class being a snake dissection!)

All hands-on learning activities are optional but highly recommended! You will follow along with Mrs. Cerise as she explains how to perform the activities/demos. The syllabus will contain the list of supplies needed for each of the activities. The last class will be a snake dissection day; if your student would like to participate, they will need a few supplies:

Homework
Homework will consist of reading 1-2 chapters each week, and taking an online graded quiz each week. Students should expect to spend 30-45 minutes/week on homework. Students and parents will also need to prepare for in-class activities by referring to the syllabus and obtaining supplies before class starts.
Fees
Fee: For all 10 classes: $139 if you register on or before July 15; $159 if you register after July 15. (Registration closes one week before the first day of class. After that date, registrations are not guaranteed. There is a $25 surcharge for late enrollments after the course is closed.)

Victoria Cerise, BSN, lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband. She graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and worked in the Emergency Department as an RN. Now, she uses her medical knowledge to teach science to students to help them learn the beauty of God’s design in our lives. She also works as a professional Catholic wedding photographer to help show the beauty of a God-centered marriage within her work. She has been strongly involved in prolife activism since college, and continues to do activism today through her photography and prayers. When not teaching or photographing, she is typically found learning new homemaking skills in one of her favorite places ever: her log cabin home!
