All hands-on learning activities are optional but highly recommended! You will follow along with Mrs. Cerise as she explains how to perform the experiments/demos. The syllabus will contain the list of supplies needed for each of the experiments, many of which are common household items.

Class 1 - The Earth in Motion (Volcano Activity)
Class 2 - Something in the Atmosphere (Cloud Activity)
Class 3 - Scratching the Surface (Erosion Activity)
Class 4 - The Water Cycle (Water Cycle Activity)
Class 5 - Weather: A Measure of Today (Tornado Activity)
Class 6 – Biomes I: Unique Habitats and Where to Find Them (Walking Water Activity)
Class 7 - Biomes II: Tropical and Temperate Habitats (Rain Activity)
Class 8 - Biomes III: Extreme Habitats (Snow Activity)
Materials
Homework
Homework will consist of reading a chapter each week, and taking an online graded quiz each week. Students should expect to spend 30-45 minutes/week on homework.
Fees
For all 8 classes: $109 if you register on or before July 15; $129 if you register after July 15. (Registration closes one week before the first day of class. After that date, registrations are not guaranteed. There is a $25 surcharge for late enrollments after the course is closed.)

Victoria Cerise, BSN, lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband. She graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and worked in the Emergency Department as an RN. Now, she uses her medical knowledge to teach science to students to help them learn the beauty of God’s design in our lives. She also works as a professional Catholic wedding photographer to help show the beauty of a God-centered marriage within her work. She has been strongly involved in prolife activism since college, and continues to do activism today through her photography and prayers. When not teaching or photographing, she is typically found learning new homemaking skills in one of her favorite places ever: her log cabin home!
