In these Bible studies we will plunge the depths with Jonah and with Samspn smash the enemy of ignorance. These are two exciting stories, and they are even more exciting when you look at the details. Parents are encouraged to listen in.
Course Description: In Week 1, we will study the four chapters of the book of Judges that tell the story of Samson. In Week 2, we will study the four chapters of the book of Jonah.
History: For both studies, we will read the text several times and examine its historical context.Literature: From a literary point of view, we will explore the structure of both texts and unpack the rich word plays and insights in the Hebrew text.
Faith: We will look at what each book has to reveal concerning our glorious Faith, how it points us to Jesus, and what lessons we can take away and use in our own lives to grow closer to God.Instructor: Daniel Egan
