How to get the most out of Algebra I (Glencoe), Part Two:
First, watch the recorded lessons for the class.
Then complete the homework assignments for the class. Check your answers in the back of the textbook. If any even problems were assigned, the answers have been provided for you on Caravel.
Take the quiz. Retake the quiz as many times as necessary until you earn 100%.
Take the chapter test on the weeks where there is one.
Once the course is completed to the parent's satisfaction, there is a Certificate of Completion at the end to be filled in for your records.
Special notes: This is Part Two of a 2-part course. Students are welcome to join us midyear if there is an opening and they have the prerequisite.

About Emily Nardozzi, MEd
Emily Nardozzi received her undergraduate degree in mathematics and secondary education from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame in 2009. She then participated in Notre Dame’s ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) program, earning a Masters in Education. Mrs. Nardozzi taught at St. Jude in St. Petersburg, Florida for three years and at Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan for three years.
Emily Nardozzi lives in Michigan with her husband and five beautiful children. She spent my childhood playing school and fell in love with math during her academic years.
When she began studying in college, her heart kept pulling me to become a math teacher. She have taught and tutored math for over 14 years. It brings her great joy to find creative ways to explain math concepts and watch the "light bulb moment" happen for her students when concepts click and make sense.
Teaching for Homeschool Connections has been a tremendous blessing, and she cherishes the ability to teach math in an atmosphere of faith and love. God is so good!
