Could the events in Star Wars really happen? Join us to find out! In this class, we will explore the space travel, weapons, armor, aliens, droids, and other elements of this classic franchise to find out which (if any) modern science could make possible. Perhaps, that galaxy isn’t so far, far away after all!
How to get the most out of Science of Star Wars with Inshal Chenet:
First, read the course materials below before watching the first recording.
Then have a notebook ready and available for notes each class.
Read assignments before watching recordings
Watch recordings if you need to revisit information.
Do the assignments, quizzes, and any extra work assigned for that class.
Once the course is completed to the parent's satisfaction, there is a Certificate of Completion at the end to be filled in for your records.

Course description: Star Wars has inspired children for generations. In this class we will be capitalizing on that inspiration, showing how interesting Star Wars phenomena can be understood scientifically, and what recent and upcoming inventions relate to the tech seen in Star Wars!

Class 1: Space Travel
Class 2: Spaceship Designs
Class 3: Types of Planets
Class 4: Aliens
Class 5: Humans in Star Wars
Class 6: Armor
Class 7: Droids
Class 8: Bio-Tech
Course materials: Readings will be provided free.
Homework: Each class the students will read or watch a provided assignment and take a short 2-3 question quiz to show they understand the material.

Inshal Chenet
About Inshal Chenet
Inshal Chenet and his wife are both proud homeschool graduates. Mr. Chenet has lived in 18 different places around the globe since he was born in Bedford, Texas. He comes from a family of seven and his father served in the United States Air Force.
After serving a year in NET ministries, Mr. Chenet went on to attend Wyoming Catholic College and received his BA in Liberal Arts, and then received his MA in Theology from Christendom College.
He teaches Science, Theology, History, and a variety of other subjects for Homeschool Connections and other local groups, and is currently starting a boy's high school, St. Joseph the Worker Academy.
On the side, Mr. Chenet runs Cottonwood farms, a small farm community with several catholic families and many animals such as: a milk cow, pigs, maple-tapping, bees, sheep, goats, and chickens.
He is a certified COR backpacking instructor and enjoys canyoneering, caving, and camping when he can find the time for it. But most of all, Mr. Chenet loves spending time with his wife and four children and the vibrant community that they live in.
