Why have an entrepreneurial mindset?

How does business really work?

In this Business & Entrepreneurship course, students gain an understanding of the five pillars of entrepreneurship, the basics of business structures, divisions, & management, and also examine the process of moving from idea to entity. We will look at business concepts & vocabulary, including: Planning, Business Structures, Management Principles, Finance, Human Resources, Purchasing, Customer Service, Marketing, Production, & Administration.

Homework

Each class has assignments in five categories: Class Time, Reading, Vocabulary, Project, & Evaluation. This should take a student about 5 hours per week, depending on their personal interest & abilities.

Fees

Fee: For all 14 classes: $227 if you register on or before Nov 15; $247 if you register after Nov 15. (Registration closes one week before the first day of class. After that date, registrations are not guaranteed. There is a $25 surcharge for late enrollments after the course is closed.)
