Summary

Inspire virtue through the lives of the saints! In this live, interactive theology course based on The Little Flowers Girls’ Club: Wreath II, middle school girls will continue to explore key virtues, recognize their opposites, and learn how to live out their faith in daily life. Guided by beloved saints and Biblical figures, this course blends character formation with fun and fellowship in a supportive, faith-filled environment.

 

Course Description: Captivate your daughter’s heart and mind through this saint-led exploration of virtue! Girls will continue to journey alongside saints and Biblical figures in the quest to grow in virtue day by day. They will learn to identify strengths and weaknesses, and develop the foundational skills to cultivate true virtue throughout their lives.

Homework

Students can expect to spend 2 hours per week outside of class on assigned reading, occasional videos, a weekly quiz, and a short writing assignment every three weeks. Daily journaling will be encouraged, though not required. There is a midterm, and a final project to be chosen from a list of suggestions.

Fees

Fee: For all 12 classes: $207 if you register on or before November 15; $227 if you register after Nov. 15. (Registration closes one week before the first day of class. After that date, registrations are not guaranteed. There is a $25 surcharge for late enrollments after the course is closed.

As a homeschool graduate Anastasia Brooks developed a passion for excellence within education. She saw the intellectual development along with the formation to think independently and critically within her homeschool years. She believes in encouraging this within her style of teaching along with a genuine willingness to learn from students

During her teenage years, Anastasia found herself wondering what the true sense of femininity meant and how the Catholic Church’s stance on it differed from the world’s view. After finding it through Pope St John Paul II’s writings on the Feminine Genius, she became passionate about spreading it to other young teenagers so they too will understand their inherent dignity and worth as daughters of Christ in the modern world.

In addition to teaching Anastasia is the Founder and Owner of  “Valleys of Grace” specializing in chapel veils and spreading the true meaning behind why women should veil. In her spare time, she can be found reading a good book, baking, hiking and being involved in her local Catholic communities.

Jamie Driver

Jamie grew up as the eldest of six kids in her Catholic homeschooling family and is a former Homeschool Connection's student herself. Soon-to-be Mrs. Flores, she is getting married in November and lives in the Dallas, Texas area. Jamie spends her time instructing and choreographing all styles of dance at local studios, but her primary passion and focus is tap dance. Jamie believes in encouraging students to step outside their comfort zone, having fun, and using their unique talents to glorify God. Outside of teaching dance and monitoring classes Jamie is working on making products and mailing orders for her Catholic online business, Saintly Sacrifices. In her free time, you can find her at adoration and visiting a local coffee shop with a friend.
