The cost will be $9 per month.  It is requested to do this before the first class begins.

  Two different resources are necessary for this course.

   

  I.            Enrollment (online) in the course materials for Imperial Russia: A Cultural Odyssey. Here you will find the basic course materials (pre-recorded lectures for each unit, vocabulary, assignments, various resources).   From there, you can navigate to the registration page, or you can go to it directly here. Once there, you may choose monthly ($9) access, renewable each month to provide the student the materials for the semester. Should you wish for any reason, you may also choose an annual subscription to the course (12 months).

  This text is available many places, including libraries, Amazon, Thrift Books, etc. You are also likely to find used copies at very good prices on websites like Amazon.

Students will view the video recorded lecture for each week’s topic (1 hour in length), prior to our Monday class (live, interactive lecture). The academic material for each week includes vocabulary, chronology, terminology, and research into specific topics. Results are best if the majority of individual preparation is done before participating together in the live class. There are unit quizzes as well.
